Regarding the Decision to Discontinue the Valothon Project
Valothon was a project I started with two goals in mind: to learn new things on the technical side, and to build a small community project around Valorant a game I genuinely enjoy. After roughly 3–4 months of development, the site officially launched on December 4, 2025.
Looking at where things stand today, the site's traffic performance and engagement metrics unfortunately never reached the level I had hoped for. For this reason, I've decided to discontinue active development of Valothon.
The site will remain accessible until August 18, 2026, when the domain expires. However, since I will no longer be covering server costs, you may occasionally experience slowdowns or image loading errors. In the meantime, I'll still try to add new collections to the site as they come out.
I'd like to sincerely thank the 29 members who registered on the site and the thousands of visitors who stopped by from all around the world. If I ever change my mind about this decision, I'll be sure to share that with you. Until then, take care.
